http://

Introduction

The Mosby Group for a Concert / Workshop Program serves to inform guitar, drum, bass, piano and songwriting clientele about the many roles these instruments play in live performance and musical style. This is a platform for presenting my ensemble members in an educational and open exchange with audience members.

Our goal in presenting a Mosby Group Concert/Workshop is to augment educational outreach for presenters and and increase audience attendance at concerts. We have broad audience appeal and encourage high school, college and music part timers and pros from all levels and disciplines to attend.

The Concert / Workshop hits on the varied aspects of group performance as related to individual instrument roles, technique, composition, musical style and arranging considerations for live performance, signal flow and routing for guitar pedal boards and special efx.

Location & Tech Support

Please see Mosby Group Stage plot for tech details. In General, the Concert / Workshop may take place at any location that can house a four piece ensemble. We will need a large dry eraser board and microphone for talk back.

This will be a point of destination event and Thursday evening may be a good call during the summer months as many families in Kirkwood tend to go out of town on the weekends.

Conclusion

An event such as this will be in keeping with the high standards Fazio’s has continued to set for visiting artists.  By bringing other potential businesses in for support and providing services/incentives  (Kaldis supplying coffee/ snacks) this could be a win win situation for all involved creating a nice family style learning environment for the persons in attendance and in keeping with Fazio’s  positioning a hub for music needs and information in the area.

Thank you again for your time and consideration and I will contact you shortly to see if this proposal has been received.
